How do I know if I am grounded or ungrounded?

Being grounded is so important to our well-being!

Below is a list of some of the more common symptoms of being ungrounded. Usually each individual will encounter the same one or two symptoms each time they are ungrounded.

The common symptoms of being ungrounded are as follows:

Headaches, body pains, dizziness, feeling spaced out, light headed or a floaty feeling, daydreaming
Forgetting appointments or other important things
Misplacing or losing things
Feeling sick or generally unwell, totally lacking energy, tired and drained
Heart palpitations, anxiety
Falling asleep during meditation
Continual daydreaming
Sensitivity to light and noise
Feeling over stimulated and nervy
Bumping into things or other general feelings of clumsiness
Unable to carry on a normal conversation, including losing track of what you were saying.

So how do I become more grounded?

Here are some things you can do to help bring you back down to earth:

Carrying/working with grounding crystals
Chakra balance
Eating (hence sometimes the weight gain) – healthy & balanced.
Drinking water
Walking, or barefoot outside, especially in natural surroundings
Sports, yoga, tai chi etc.
Gardening
Animals eg. walking the dog
Being purposeful
Visualisation of roots
